Pronunciation tricks in English

How would you pronounce “LLACH” in Spanish!  Yes, I know it isn’t a real word!

Let me explain.

A student of mine is managing a major legal case for her company.  For this reason she has to say “judge” (juez) at least 100 times per class.  She had a lot of difficulty with the pronunciation and, even though we practiced a lot, she couldn’t do it correctly.  However, when I finally spelled the word her way (the Spanish way) and not my way (the English way) it was no problem.

When she sees the letters “LLACH” she naturally says “judge”.  Use whatever works.
