Verb+”Ing” after prepositions!!!
English is not always consistent, but this rule is very consistent.
Prep + Gerund
Prepositions, of course, show position: by, in, on, up, down, about, etc.
Gerunds are simply verbs with an ING ending: eating, working, sleeping, etc
She thanked me for come coming.
